RESOLUTION NO. ONE-A RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH LAKE COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED MILLAGE RATE FOR THE 2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS, The North Lake County Hospital District must levy a millage to raise operating revenue; and WHEREAS, Florida Statutes, Section 200.065 (2) requires the North Lake County Hospital District to approve such millage by ordinance or resolution; and the Laws of Florida Chapter 2002-348 state that the Board may levy an ad valorem tax in the district of 1 mill; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the North Lake County Hospital District and its inhabitants that the millage be levied. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The North Lake County Hospital Board of Trustees hereby approves a levy of 1.0 mills. 2. The levy of 1.0 mills represents a decrease in the property tax levy of 9.66 percent under the rolled-back rate of 1.1069 mills.
